Tucked away in Pulliam Hall is a room where students and alumni connect, talk, and learn. Each fall and spring semester, the
students' mission is to build relationships by keeping in touch with our alumni and friends. The Phone-a-thon is our primary
resource for updating mailing addresses. These updates ensure that you continue to receive such publications as our alumni
magazine the Baker Pride and other important materials that will keep you up to date with all the great things that are
happening at Baker.
The Phone-a-thon is a fund-raising tradition at Baker University and is vital to raising necessary annual support for the Baker
Fund. The Fund helps pay for operating costs of the University. It also helps finance tuition costs for many students, so they
can enjoy the experience of attending the best liberal arts university in the Midwest.

In addition to reconnecting and raising annual dollars, the Phone-a-thon provides jobs to current students. Working for the
Phone-a-thon not only assists students with financing their education, but also provides them with valuable work experience
the students can add to their resumes.
Alumni and Friends: During the Phone-a-thon, support from alumni and friends provides a vital source of funds to the University.
Support has been wonderful in the past and we hope, with your help, it will continue. Philanthropic support from our alumni and
friends is valuable in Baker's measure of alumni and community participation. A strong tradition of philanthropy helps Baker
remain nationally competitive and attracts additional outside funding for things such as the new science building, science
equipment, enhanced academic programs and scholarships. So the next time you get a Phone-a-thon call from a current Baker
student, please take the time to be a part of a strong Baker University tradition and make this year's Phone-a-thon the best ever!
