Enrich your own life while you enhance the lives of others: Become a Baker Volunteer! The opportunities for volunteering are almost endless, including mentoring in formal and informal ways. Through a variety of volunteer program and committee opportunities, alumni and friends of the University are invited and encouraged to maintain connections to the community, to Baker, and to one another. Regardless of your past volunteer experience or ability to commit much time, we can provide you with ways to remain involved in a meaningful way.

Some people volunteer because they meet new friends and feel connected to the university. Others want to explore careers and learn new skills. Many find fulfillment in giving of their expertise for the good of others. Whatever reason prompts you to volunteer, we thank you!

Listed below are ideas for volunteering and mentoring, regardless of how much time you have to give. To discuss these options, or to explore other ideas you may have to contribute as a volunteer, contact the Office of University Advancement at 785-594-4555, toll-free 800-726-1554, or email advancement@bakeru.edu.
