Give Talent
Share Your Skills While Helping Current Students
Enrich your own life while enhancing the skills of others by becoming a Baker mentor. Mentors can formally or informally share their expertise, experience and insights with Baker students or recent graduates looking to enter the professional world. Your gift of talent greatly increases the resources available to our students and helps them to own confidence.
Consider the following opportunities for sharing your talents.
- Workplace internship: Provide a learning environment in the workplace for a Baker student intern.
- Workplace coach: Provide guidance and expertise to a Baker student.
- Guest speaker: Lecture to a class about a subject in which you specialize and feel passionate about.
- Life skills mentor: In cooperation with the dean of student development, help Baker students develop their career game plan.
