No. 21 Baker cruises to 4-0 victory over Culver-Stockton

CANTON, Mo. – Four first half goals was all the ‘Cats needed on Saturday afternoon to defeat Culver-Stockton College 4-0.

Jordan Dolbin put Baker on the board first with a goal just 26 seconds into regulation on a ball from Ashley Ukena.

Alexa Fryer added a goal in the 17th minute and Alix Schiraldi and Ashley Mauck tallied goals in the 28th and 39th minute respectively.

Baker (10-3-1, 4-1-1 HAAC) outshot the Wildcats 20-9 overall. Goalkeeper Maggie Dupes made one save in the contest.

Baker returns to action on Nov. 1 against Missouri Valley College at 6 p.m., in Marshall, Mo.

No. 2 Baker remains undefeated with 5-0 victory over Culver-Stockton

CANTON, Mo. – After grabbing its highest ranking in program history earlier in the week, the Baker men’s soccer team went on the road Saturday and defeated Culver-Stockton College 5-0.

A steady offensive attack paced the Wildcats as Andy Griffin put Baker on the board first with a goal in the eighth minute from Tom Lowndes.

Odaine Sinclair and Nick Aguilar added unassisted goals in the 35th and 60th minute respectively. Andy Griffin tallied his second goal of the game in the 77th minute and Cameron Zimmerman added the final tally in the 87th minute as both goals were assisted by Steven Stewart.

Baker (16-0, 6-0 HAAC) outshot Culver-Stockton 24-2 overall. Goalkeeper Matt Bickley made two saves in the contest to record his ninth shutout of the season.

Baker returns to action on Nov. 1 when it travels to No. 6 Missouri Valley College for the regular season finale against the Vikings.
