Wildcats sweep Friday matches at Hannibal-LaGrange
HANNIBAL, Mo. – Baker went 2-0 on the opening day of play at the Hannibal-LaGrange tournament on Friday afternoon.
The Wildcats opened the afternoon with a 3-1 (25-7, 24-26, 25-16, 25-13) victory over Mayville State (N.D.). Jana Boss (13 kills), Christina Delladi (13 kills), and Sydney Pemberton (11 kills) led the Baker offense. Libero Brooke Allen anchored the defense with 20 kills.
The nightcap saw the Wildcats defeat Stephens College (Mo.) 3-0 (25-20, 25-8, 25-14). Christina Delladio led the Baker offense with 16 kills and Jana Boss added 28 assists.
Baker returns to action Saturday afternoon against William Woods at 11 a.m. and host Hannibal-LaGrange at 3 p.m.
