Men’s soccer team jumps four spots in latest Top 25 poll

Top 25 Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After winning its HAAC opener on Sunday evening, the Baker men’s soccer team (10-0, 1-0 HAAC) jumped to sixth nationally in the latest NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.

Other HAAC schools in the Oct. 4 poll include Missouri Valley College (8-1-0), Benedictine College (10-0-0) and Graceland University (7-1-1).

“It’s fantastic that the hardwork of the team is being recognized nationally,” said head coach Nate Houser. “I think it’s great for the conference, but we’re really just more interested in where we end up at the end of the season.”

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conference/independents/unaffiliated groups. The sixth regular-season Men’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 Poll will be announced on Oct. 11.
