ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The Wildcats never led on Saturday afternoon, falling 76-62 to Lindenwood University.

Emily Gibson led all Wildcat scorers with a team-high 25 points while shooting 10-of-18 from the field. Gibson also pulled down eight rebounds and recorded three blocks in the contest. Brittany Hines was the only other Wildcat to score in double figures with 12 points in the contest.

Baker (12-10, 7-5 HAAC) trailed by just one point with 15 minutes to play in the first half, but a scoreless drought plagued the Wildcats yet again as Baker recorded just one field goal in an eight-minute span. Lindenwood took a 38-23 advantage heading into the break.

Baker closed the gap to 53-49 with 10 minutes to play in the second half, but free throws ended up being the deciding factor in the contest as Lindenwood went 27-for-30 from the charity stripe. Baker went just 10-for-14.

Lindenwood (13-7, 9-3 HAAC) had five players score in double figures, with Caroline Bourlioux scoring a team-high 18 points while shooting a perfect 18-for-18 from the charity stripe.

The Wildcats return to action on Feb. 3 when they travel to Central Methodist University for a 5:30 p.m., tipoff in Fayette, Mo.
