Gibson averaged 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 3 blocks per game in two games, scoring a team-high 18 points against the University of Rio Grande (Ohio).
Hines averaged 23.5 points and 2.5 assists per game, but the highlight of the tournament came in game two against Southwestern College (Ariz.) when Hines broke the Baker single game scoring record netting 34 points while going 7-for-14 from beyond the arc. Hines‘ seven 3-pointers tied a school record.
The Wildcats returned to campus on Monday morning and will begin preparations for local rival Avila University. The Eagles and Wildcats will face off at 5:30 p.m., Thursday at the George F. Collins Center.
