BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker Wildcats (10-5-2) will face off against the Benedictine Ravens (10-5-1) for an archrival matchup in the first-round of the HAAC playoffs on Tuesday. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Liston Stadium.

Baker enters the contest with a 6-2-1 record in conference play after notching its most recent win in an exciting 1-0 victory against Graceland University on November 3rd.  The win also extended the Wildcats’ win streak to four games.

In the regular season, Baker outscored its HAAC opponents 18-9, and the Wildcats are currently ranked fourth in the conference in goals per game with an average of 1.82.

Benedictine carries a 5-4 conference record into the playoffs after falling 1-0 to MidAmerica Nazarene last Tuesday.

Just eight of the Ravens’ 23 goals have come against conference foes this year. Kyle Greig (Olathe, Kan.) leads the team with 10 goals on the season. Greig also leads the conference in shots with 61.

The winner of Tuesday’s game will advance to the semifinals on Thursday, November 11th.
