The Baker women (7-4-3, 2-2-2 HAAC) are coming off consecutive draws against Park University and Missouri Valley College.
Junior Alix Schiraldi continues to pace the team offensively with 10 goals. Goalkeeper Maggie Dupes is averaging 3.07 saves per contest while Jordan Dolbin leads the team with two shots on goal per game.
Lindenwood (5-8-1, 2-2-1 HAAC) enters Saturday on a 1-4 skid, dropping four straight games before winning their last contest against Covenant College.
“The Lady Lions are always a dangerous team,” Wildcat head coach Nate Houser said. “If we can create and convert some chances on goal it will be a great battle.”
The Baker men (8-4-2, 4-1-1 HAAC) continue to challenge for the top spot in the conference standings.
Tom Lowndes and Ethan Bauer lead the team offensively with four goals apiece. After struggling the past two games, Alex Burton looks to be back in net as the starting goalkeeper. Burton is currently averaging 1.91 saves per game.
No. 19 Lindenwood (10-4-0, 3-2-0 HAAC) lost their previous game to Benedictine College and remain in a good position to challenge for the top spot in the conference.
“It’s going to take a disciplined effort to overcome a very experienced Lindenwood team,” Houser said. “This will be a great test before the playoffs.”
