Wildcats set to take on MidAmerica Nazarene Tuesday night


The Baker men’s and women’s soccer teams will be back in action Tuesday evening when they take on local rival MidAmerica Nazarene at Liston Stadium.

The Baker women (6-3-1, 1-1-1) are coming off a 2-2 tie with William Jewell College this past weekend.

Junior Alix Schiraldi and senior Christine Janssens continue to lead the offensive attack for the Cats’.  Schiraldi ranks 27th nationally with nine goals on the season, while Janssens sits at 43rd nationally with eight.

Defensively, goalkeeper Maggie Dupes enters play averaging 2.9 saves per contest.

The Baker men (6-3-1, 2-1) are coming off a 2-1 loss to William Jewell College on Sunday afternoon.

Ethan Bauer and Tom Lowndes continue to lead the squad offensively with three goals apiece on the season.
