Wildcats fall to No. 6 MidAmerica Nazarene, 24-16Wildcats

OLATHE, Kan. – The offensive output was better, but the Wildcats (0-3, 0-2) dropped their third-consecutive game on Saturday evening in Olathe, Kan.

Aaron Terill and Scott Meyer combined for 105 yards of rushing with two touchdowns. Freshman quarterback Zach Faust went 12-for-29 with a 138 yards and one interception.

The game was a scoreless tie heading into halftime, but the Wildcats couldn’t answer the Pioneers 16-point third quarter.

Baker added a field goal, but MNU pulled away late to claim the 24-16 victory.

MNU quarterback Sean Ransburg went 10-for-20 with 130 yards and one interception. Ransburg also ran for 105 yards.

"The guys continue to play their heart out," said head coach Mike Grossner. "We just didn't make enough plays to win the football game."

The Wildcats will be back in action next weekend when they face Avila University in the "blackout" the stadium football game.
