Hannon named HAAC Track Athlete of the WeekKansas_Relays_2010_LJ

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Aaron Hannon's record-setting performance at the Kansas Relays in Lawrence, Kan., on Thursday, April 15, has earned him the honor of Heart of America Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week.

With his victory in the men's decathlon, Aaron Hannon became the first athlete from Baker University (Kan.) to ever win a Kansas Relays title. Hannon accumulated 6,948 points over the 10 events to capture the prestigious trophy. Hannon's best event of the day came in the 110-meter hurdles, as he clocked in at 15.63 to earn 775 points.

The Wildcats will be back in action this weekend in Baldwin City when they host the Wildcat Relays. Action is set to begin Saturday, April 24, at 10:00 a.m.
