HAAC semifinal action tonight, winner advances to title gameBrooke Pryor

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Baker University's women's volleyball team will play for a spot in the HAAC title game when they face Evangel University in the HAAC semifinals at 7 p.m.

The Lady 'Cats (32-3) defeated MidAmerica Nazarene last Saturday 3-0 (27-25, 25-17, 26-24). Offensively, the 'Cats are led by junior Brooke Pryor, who averages 4.2 kills per set, which ranks No. 9 in the NAIA and No. 1 in the HAAC.

Defensively, Brooke Allen is in a league of her own. Allen ranks No. 2 in the NAIA with 6.9 digs per set and 865 total digs. Both Allen and Pryor combined have compiled nine HAAC Player of the Week awards this season.

The Evangel Crusaders defeated Graceland University in the HAAC quarterfinals 3-2 (27-25, 25-18, 25-27, 20-25, 17-15). Kaley Lyons leads the way offensively and defensively for the Crusaders averaging 3.1 kills per set and 0.9 blocks per set. Defensive specialist Hilary Taylor averages 4.4 digs per set.

LAST TIME OUT
Baker defeated Evangel 3-0 on Oct. 13 (27-25, 28-26, 25-21). Christina Delladio led the way offensively with 13 kills. Brooke Pryor chipped in with 12. Brooke Allen had one of her best defensive games of the season recording 24 digs.

WHAT'S NEXT
In the second semifinal of the evening, Lindenwood will host Benedictine. The winner of tonight¹s contest will face one of those two teams.
