Women's soccer receives highest ranking in school history
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - When the NAIA national office released the top 25 rankings this afternoon, it was the first time in school history that the women's program was ranked ahead of the men's.
The Baker women come into this weeks poll ranked No. 15 nationally with 345 votes. The men are ranked No. 16 nationally with 319 votes.
Both teams look to continue their climb in the national polls as the postseason nears.
Both teams will be back in action this Saturday when they travel to take on conference rival Lindenwood University at 5 and 7 p.m. in St. Charles, Mo.
The poll was voted on by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups. The eighth regular-season top 25 poll will be announced Oct. 27.
