With 8 seconds remaining in the second overtime Richard Klein punched in the game-winning goal to put No. 14 Baker past Park University Tuesday evening.

Baker improved to 9-1-3 on the season. Park dropped to 5-4 while falling out of the Top 25 rankings.

Baker outshot the Pirates 14-12 in the game, including a 4-1 edge in shots during the double overtime period.

Park notched the first goal of the contest just 5 minutes into regulation on a goal from Ramone Palmer. Baker wasn’t able to counter that goal until the second half when Richard Klein scored his first of two goals on the night 20 minutes in.

Matt Germain added to that tally 10 minutes later when he scored an unassisted goal to put Baker ahead 2-1.

Then 52 seconds later Park struck again. Ramone Palmer scored his second goal of the contest to tie things up, sending the match into overtime.

Alex Burton made three saves in the contest.
