No. 8 MNU dominates No. 12 Baker
Offensive woes were the story yet again on Saturday evening when the Baker Wildcats fell 45-13 to 8th ranked MidAmerica Nazarene. Personal fouls were problems early for the Wildcats, when they stalled two potential scoring drives early in the 1st quarter. “We had two drives going and got personal fouls,” said Head Coach Mike Grossner. “We’re literally shooting ourselves in the foot. Until we stop doing that, we're not going to be a good football team.”
After a scoreless first quarter, the flood gates opened up. The Pioneers scored four touchdowns in the second quarter, one of which was a 90 yard punt return. “That was a knockout play,” stated Grossner.
