BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker men’s basketball team continues to ride its hot streak after defeating Benedictine College, 55-48 on Thursday evening for the first time since 2008.
Jaris Wommack led all Baker scorers with 16 points off 7-of-15 shooting from the floor. Joe Wachter added a career-high 10 points and knocked down two clutch free throws in the last 20 seconds to seal the Baker victory.

LINDSBORG, Kan. – The Baker men’s basketball team got back on track Monday evening defeating Bethany College (Kan.) 83-73. The Wildcats‘ second half surge saved the day as Baker (5-9) went 19-for-30 from the field (63 percent) to close out the Swedes (5-9).

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Baker men’s basketball team dropped its second consecutive game on Saturday evening to No 23 Columbia College 45-69 in the final day of the Columbia College Classic.
Corey Anderson led all Baker scorers with a career-high 11 points, but the hot shooting of Columbia College stifled the Wildcats chances of pulling off the upset bid. The Cougars’ shot 46 percent from the field and outrebounded the Cats‘ 37-26. Henrique Medeiros led the Columbia with 13 points and three assists.
