Anderson wins HAAC player of the week
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Baker sophomore J.L. Anderson earned conference player of the week after his stellar performance at the Pitt State Invitational.
Anderson took first place in the 200 meter with a time of 23.26 seconds, and his time of 7.80 seconds led to a second-place finish in the 55 meter hurdles.

First place on the line for Baker women's basketball

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - The battle for the top spot in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings will take place on Thursday night in the George F. Collins Center as the Baker women take on rival William Jewell College.
HAAC leader Evangel has dropped two of its past three games, putting Baker in prime position to join the Crusaders at the top of the conference. Both Baker and William Jewell are riding two-game winning streaks coming into the contest.

MARSHALL, Mo. - Missouri Valley's ShaTeah West rebounded a missed shot and scored with 1.2 seconds remaining in regulation to give the Vikings a 59-58 victory over Baker University in Heart of America Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon.

Baker drops season opening doubleheader at Rogers State

CLAREMORE, Okla. - The Baker University baseball team dropped its season opener to Rogers State University on Saturday in a pair of one-run games.
The Wildcats had a two-run lead heading into the final inning of the series opener, but, the Hillcats staged a two-run rally in their final at-bat to take the first game of the doubleheader 2-1.
Baker women drop third straight at Avila University on Monday night
- The Baker women have dropped three-straight games in the HAAC.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Baker University women's basketball team dropped its third straight game with a 62-53 loss at Avila University (18-10, 12-6) on Monday night. With the loss the Wildcats fall to 16-12 overall and 12-6 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play.

Five players score in double figures as Wildcats cruise to victory

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Senior Malcolm Greer led the way Monday evening scoring a career-high 29 points off 11-of-15 (73 percent) shooting from the floor. The Wildcats got contributions from everybody, Jaris Wommack had 21 points, while Brock Entner (16), Manuel Medina (14), and Andre Strozier (12) all chipped in.
