Cheryl Keslar enters her third season as the head bowling coach for the Baker Wildcats after coming from the professional ranks. She joined the Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA) tour in 1980. She went on to win 25 regional titles in the Great Plains Bowling Association and 15 Kansas State Titles. In 1994 Keslar was inducted into the Kansas Bowling Hall of Fame

Keslar brings 30 years of tournament level experience to Baker in competitions at the local, regional and national levels. She hopes to continue to build the program. "Today is an exciting day, I look forward to my first year as the head coach at Baker University. I look forward to building on the foundation set by first-year coach Kristal Wilson," said Keslar.

"It has been a dream of mine to coach at the collegiate level, and I couldn't be more excited about the opportunity," Keslar said. "Baker has a growing bowling reputation, and the university is a good fit for me."

Keslar and her family currently reside in Tonganoxie, Kan.
