Position: Graduate Assistant Coach
Matt Brock enters his second year as a graduate assistant coach for the Baker Wildcats. While coaching the linebackers, Brock oversaw the development of 3 All-HAAC performers in 2011. Aside from his roles with the linebacking corps, he also assisted with kick off and punt team. Brock serves as the defensive coordinator for a JV squad that finished 3-0 in 2011.
In the weight room, Brock assisted with the implementation of Bakers strength & conditioning program for football and he is currently working towards his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist certification.
Brock is a former linebacker for the Wildcats. During his time at Baker, he recorded 277 career tackles and 7 career interceptions, while leading the conference in total tackles and tackles per game in 2010. A 2009 and 2010 all-conference selection, Brock is also a 2-time Academic All-American and earned several team MVP awards.
Brock and his wife, Alyssa, are both Baker graduates.
