ATHLETICS

Baker University has a long tradition of winning athletic programs that includes pioneering women's athletics before the turn of the century and winning the first intercollegiate football game against the University of Kansas in 1890. About half of Baker's students participate in varsity athletics. And, many of our recent graduates have gone on to play professional football, basketball, and soccer.

Baker is a founding member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

For the first time ever, Baker fans will be able to get a live feed for Wildcat athletic events straight from the Baker Web site.

Click here for the Wildcat Women's Basketball online broadcast schedule, or here for the Men's Basketball games, provided by BroadcastMonsters.com. Football and basketball games, with Kansas Broadcasters Hall of Fame enshrinee and longtime Voice of the Wildcats Tom Hedrick announcing, will be featured. The games will also be archived so fans can hear them later. Not all basketball games will have an Internet feed.
