HEAD COACH RICK WEAVER

Going into his 19th year as Baker's golf coach, Rick Weaver is the dean of Wildcat coaches and also one of its most humorous and charismatic leaders. Weaver has led the 'Cats to six Heart of America Athletic Conference titles in men's golf since becoming head coach in 1985.

His success as a coach extends beyond the golf course. Weaver has been named conference coach of the year for men's basketball three times and his 1996 squad set the school record for wins in a season. He surpassed Baker legend Emil Liston, a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, for career wins in December 1999.

Weaver graduated from Morningside College in Iowa with a bachelor of science in 1972 and received his masters of science from Iowa State University in 1977.
