#1 Jayme Linne Lisher

Freshman, outside hitter from Lawrence, Kan.

She received the FCA's Athletic Integrity Award and intends to be a teacher. Many freshman would have been overwhelmed in the situation Horne found herself in last season. On a team featuring five All-Conference selections and three seniors, she was expected to replace an All-American setter. Horne stepped up to the challenge, though, and established herself as a setter who connected well with her team and could also attack.
