Erin Robinson, a junior point guard, is returning as the top scorer from last year's team, averaging 9.4 points per game and earning HAAC first team honors. Other key returners are seniors Cory Shoaf, Amber Koblitz and Melissa Cox. All three will be call upon during the season to contribute to the success of the team. In addition to those players, the Wildcats will rely on their speed from the other guard and post positions. Four transfer players will play a key role at both of those positions. Kristin Crites, a 5'11" transfer from Johnson County Community College, will provide some needed size in the post. Jessica Pontious, a Division II transfer from Northeastern State University in Oklahoma, will also bring size and experience to the post position. The other two transfers will add speed and experience at the guard position. Ashley Ohlman, from Emporia State has great size and speed to help solidify the three or four spot. Libby Lewis will bring tremendous speed to the guard position on both offense and defense.

The two freshmen, Molly Ediger from Bishop Miege and Anna Skaggs from Baldwin City, come from great high school programs and bring with them a great work ethic. Their winning attitudes will help this program continue in the right direction.

The team's off-season and preseason conditioning programs support the strong defense and up-tempo style of play that will help this team be competitive in the HAAC.
