2003 Women's Soccer Coaches

After a very successful collegiate soccer career at Baker, Head Coach Nate Houser returned in 2003 as the women's soccer team's head coach. Houser was a first-team All-American in 1992 and 1993, played in the Olympic Festival in 1992 and the Senior Bowl in 1993 and was drafted by the Wichita Wings of the Major Indoor Soccer League in 1993. He was traded to the Kansas City Comets the next day. As a Comet, Houser's career continued to soar. He was a member of the championship team in 1997 and was an All-Star in 1999 and 2000. He is now assistant captain. He graduated from Baker in 1994 with a history and political science degree.

Assistant Coach Amy Hampton graduated from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 2000 with a degree in physical education after playing defensive midfield for four years. She is working on her master's degree in sports management at the University of Kansas. Hampton is in charge of skill training and defensive organization for the women's soccer team.
