Head coach - Jennifer Rigdon - 6th season (jennifer.rigdon@bakeru.edu)
Jennifer Rigdon begins her sixth season as the head coach of Baker's softball program. During this time Rigdon has guided the program to conference and regional success. Playing in one of the nation’s toughest conferences, the Wildcats have been a consistent challenger for the HAAC title.

Rigdon played her college softball at Ottawa University. After graduation, Rigdon coached two years at Benedictine College. She accepted the womens basketball head coaching position at Perry-Lecompton High School (2001) before taking the helm of the Baker program before the beginning of the 2002 season. Rigdon has coached numerous HAAC All-Conference players, NAIA All-Americans, and has averaged three NAIA Region V Scholar-Athletes each season.

Rigdon keeps busy off the field by serving as Assistant Professor and Director of Fitness Center. In 2005, Rigdon married Baker graduate and former Wildcat baseball player Jerod Rigdon. Coach Rigdon and her husband, Jerod, reside in Baldwin City with thier son Cole, 1. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family.

Assistant Coach - Paul Allen - 1st Season

Topeka native Paul Allen will begin his first season as assistant coach at Baker. As a longtime softball player and coach, Paul brings a vast amount of experience to the program.  He played college baseball at Washburn University and was a four-year letter winner.  He has also played men’s fastpitch softball for 10 years and has been on ASA and ISC state and regional championship teams for several years in a row. Paul has coached girls youth fastpitch, including several teams who won state championships.  Paul also has spent time as a volunteer youth coach for 20-plus years working with a variety of different ages and sports, including boys basketball, football, girls basketball, softball and soccer.  Currently, Paul resides in Topeka and is an insurance salesman.
