Four-year letterman in football and track;
1953 averaged 5.8 Yards per Carry for 606 total yards;
had a 40.1 yards per kick average;
ranked second in the NAIA;
selected to the All-Conference Team, 1952-53;
participated in six track and field events, 1951-54;
high-point man in every track meet, 1953-54;
holds Baker record of 24.2 seconds in the 220-yard low hurdles;
placed first at the NAIA outdoor track and field championships June 5-6, 1953 at Abilene, Texas, in the 200-yard low hurdles with a time of 24.5 seconds.
