Nov. 28 | Wildcats take second from Spires this season
At home for the first time in 24 days the Wildcats help a first half lead carry them through to a 71-65 win over the University of St. Mary.
Familair faces once again put the Wildcats back in the win column. Junior Andy Hannon scored a team-high 15 points for the Wildcats, while senior Nate Pedrow added 14.
The Wildcats converted on seven of 22 three-pointers, all in the first half. Baker shot a season-high 63 shots.
Led by Tremaine Dalton's game-high 28 points, the Spires crawled within three points of the Wildcats, who relied on timely turnovers to hold onto the win.
Baker finished the game with 12 steals and 11 blocks.
The win is the first for the Wildcats since beating Ottawa on Nov. 13, who return to conference play Thursday night.
