1930-31 Baker Wildcat Stated, “Kermit could always be counted on for ten points in the shot and discus.”

Best punter in Baker history — many times kicking the ball end zone to end zone

Elected to the All-State, All-Missouri Valley, Al-Kappa Sigma, and was an honorable mention selection to the Kunte Rockne and The Associated Press All-American Teams, 1930; selected to play in the Shriner’s East-West All-Star Game, 1931;
Played professional football with teams in the San Francisco Bay Area.
