Three Wildcats score in double figures as Baker runs past Peru State, 91-71

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – A 19-5 run to open the game over the first seven minutes was all Baker needed to down Peru State College, 91-71 on Thursday evening.
In a game that was riddled with fouls, (46 total fouls) the Baker men made sure the final outcome was never in doubt. Corey Anderson and Ben Steinlage each scored a team-high 17 points, while Todd Eils added 15 to help Baker improve to 9-4 in the HAAC.
Baker finished the contest 31-for-52 (59 percent) from the field and 9-for-19 (47 percent) from beyond the arc.
With a MidAmerica Nazarene victory over Avila University on Thursday night, Baker currently sits alone in third place in the conference standings heading into Saturday’s contest with Culver-Stockton College (4-19, 1-12 HAAC).
