Former USC running back Dillon Baxter signs with Baker University

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University head football coach Mike Grossner has announced the signing of Dillon Baxter, a former running back for the University of Southern California.

Grossner flew to San Diego this past weekend and signed Baxter on Sunday afternoon in his home.

“I’ve been aware of Dillon since high school,” Grossner said. “I’ve had a good relationship with Rolando Rivera at Mission Bay High School where Rivera coached Baxter in 2009 when he was named the National High School Player of the Year.”

Five Wildcats named to football all-HAAC first team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After closing out their fifth consecutive winning season at 7-3, the Baker University football finished the season in style with five players being named to the all-Heart of America Athletic Conference first team.

Junior offensive lineman Aaron Rieschick (Holton, Kan.), senior running back John Babb (Topeka, Kan.), sophomore quarterback Jake Morse (Lenexa, Kan.), and freshman kicker Andrew Kimrey (Kansas City, Mo.) were all first-team offensive selections.
