BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Coming off its fifth-consecutive winning season in 2011, the Baker University football team has added 36 new football players for the 2012 season.

Five Wildcats named to football all-HAAC first team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After closing out their fifth consecutive winning season at 7-3, the Baker University football finished the season in style with five players being named to the all-Heart of America Athletic Conference first team.

Junior offensive lineman Aaron Rieschick (Holton, Kan.), senior running back John Babb (Topeka, Kan.), sophomore quarterback Jake Morse (Lenexa, Kan.), and freshman kicker Andrew Kimrey (Kansas City, Mo.) were all first-team offensive selections.

No. 24 Baker crushes Graceland in season finale, 50-14

Cats Crush Graceland 50-14

LAMONI, Iowa – With the hopes of the NAIA playoffs still on the line, the Baker University football team knew it needed to win big Saturday afternoon – and the Wildcats did just that with a 50-14 victory over Graceland.

Baker (7-3, 6-3 HAAC) got on the scoreboard first as Scottie Meyer finished off a seven play 36-yard drive to put Baker ahead 7-0 with 8:03 on the clock in the first quarter. Myer would add another score four minutes later on another seven play 56-yard drive.
