Tourbeau Sports Group names Bauer, Byarlay, and Lowndes to “Top Prospects” report

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – After a season of firsts, the Baker men’s soccer team continues to garner the postseason accolades. Juniors Ethan Bauer (Olathe, Kan.) and Nate Byarlay were named to the Tourbeau Sports Group Top 40 Professional Prospects List. Senior Tom Lowndes (Cardiff, Wales) was named to the honorable mention squad.

In 2007, Tourbeau Sports Group, LLC began its mark in the sports development market. Over the past few years, TSG has had the opportunity to work alongside some of the most prominent companies, teams, organizations and individuals across the world in helping make a difference in sports.

Baker soccer program sets school-record with five NAIA All-Americans

2011 NAIA All-Americans

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – In a year that saw the Baker women’s soccer team advance to its second consecutive NAIA National quarterfinal and the Baker men’s soccer team advance to its first ever NAIA National semifinal, the teams set another record on Monday afternoon when the NAIA announced that five players from the Wildcat soccer programs had been named NAIA All-Americans.

Seniors Alix Schiraldi (Lenexa, Kan.) and Maggie Dupes (Fallbrook, Calif.), along with junior Jordan Dolbin (La Mirada, Calif.) were all named NAIA All-Americans on the women’s side. Schiraldi and Dolbin were named to the third-team, while Dupes was an honorable mention.

Wildcats fall to No. 1 Lindsey Wilson in NAIA Semifinals

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – Eight-time national champion Lindsey Wilson defeated Baker University 2-0 Friday evening at the Orange Beach Sportsplex, ending Baker’s historic run to the NAIA Men’s National Championship semifinals.

The second-seeded Blue Raiders jumped out to an early 1-0 lead just 10 minutes into the contest when Eddy Campbell netted the first tally of the game thanks to a shot into the box from Mat Luak.

No. 3 Baker (20-2-1) was outshot 6-4 on goal and 14-13 overall. Odaine Sinclair finished the contest as Baker’s overall shot leader with five, one of which was on goal.
