Baker men take fourth, women fifth at HAAC Indoor Championships
LAMONI, Iowa - The Baker University track and field squads competed at the 2010 HAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships held at Graceland University this past weekend. The women's team placed fifth overall with 87 points while the men ranked fourth, totaling 74 points over the two-day event.
The Lindenwood women's and men's squads swept the championship, with each team capturing the 2010 HAAC Indoor crown.

Wildcats take third in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. – The Baker men’s track and field team took third place this past weekend at the Nebraska Wesleyan University Triangular with an overall score of 73.
Freshman Reggie Harris highlighted the weekend’s events with a first-place finish in the long jump (6.62 meters) and a second-place finish in the 55 meter (6.47 seconds).
Senior Brian Korn also led the Wildcats with a second-place finish in the shot put and a third-place finish in the weight throw. Korn threw distances of 15.27 meters and 16.53 meters, respectively.
The Wildcats also earned points from Tanner Gleason and Bradley Walker’s efforts in the 200 meter. Gleason clocked in at 24.02 for a fourth-place finish, and Walker’s time of 24.17 was good enough for fifth place.
Baker returns to competition this Friday at the Pittsburg State Invitational.

NWU Invitational recap
LINCOLN, Neb. - The Wildcat indoor track and field team competed in the Nebraska Wesleyan University Invitational over the weekend.
Several athletes had strong performances, including sophomore JL Anderson (pictured) who finished 6th in the 200 meter with a time of 22.67, and Devin Wilson who took 9th in the 400 meter with a time of 51.51. Taylor Nall also highlighted Baker’s weekend with a 9th-place finish in the 3000 meter. Nall clocked in at 9:01.18.
