Turnovers plague Baker in 70-57 loss to Benedictine

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Gloria Atanmo racked up her seventh double-double of the season netting 15 points with 16 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough as Baker committed 26 turnovers and shot only 20-for-59 (34 percent) from the field in a 70-57 loss to Benedictine College on Thursday evening.
Benedictine (10-8, 5-2 HAAC) took a 35-24 lead into the break and never looked back from that point forward. Baker pulled to within five points at 35-30 just three minutes into the half, but a 13-3 run by the Ravens over the next five minutes sealed the game.
