Wildcat bowlers post first-ever Top 10 finish in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Baker University women’s bowling team posted its first-ever Top 10 finish over the holidays when they traveled to Las Vegas, Nev., to compete in the 2011 Collegiate Shoot-Out Dec. 18-19 and the Glen Carlson Las Vegas Invitational Dec. 20-21.
The Wildcats posted a ninth-place finish out of 17 teams in the opening tournament as junior Caitlin Campbell (pictured) led the way for the Wildcats with a 15th place finish, averaging a score of 196.

Women’s bowling advances to first-ever USBC Intercollegiate Sectional Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Baker University women’s bowling team made history this past weekend as the United States Bowling Congress announced sectional-qualifying assignments for the 2011 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships.
The Baker women finished 26th out of 44 teams in Hoosier Classic held in Indianapolis, Ind. The Wildcats top bowler Caitlin Campbell (Topeka, Kan.) led the Wildcats with a 13th-place individual finish, averaging 193.0 per game.

WICHITA, Kan. – Caitlin Campbell led the way in the ‘Cats opening tournament grabbing all-tournament honors with her fifth place finish in the 18 team field of 97 bowlers.
