Dunn and Janssens named NSCAA All-Region 
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Two Baker women's soccer players have been named to the 2009 NSCAA All-North Plains Region team.
Juniors Chelsea Dunn, Liberty, Mo., and Christine Janssens, Kansas City, Mo., represented the Wildcats.
Dunn was also selected as a 2009 Adidas-NAIA honorable mention All-American. Dunn, the Heart of America Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year, led the Wildcats to four shutouts over top 25 programs this season.

Graceland takes down Baker in HAAC title game
LAMONI, Iowa - It was the Chelsea Phillips show in Lamoni, Iowa, on Saturday afternoon. Phillips scored both goals for the Yellow Jackets as they assured themselves a spot in the NAIA national tournament.
Gina Schiraldi and Alix Schiraldi each recorded three shots on goal, which were saved by Graceland goal keeper Leslie Danner. Danner recorded nine saves on the day.
Baker now awaits its postseason fate. The national teams will be selected tomorrow afternoon in Kansas City, Mo.

Baker advances to HAAC title game
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - The Baker women's soccer team advanced to the HAAC title game on Thursday evening after defeating William Jewell College in a double-overtime thriller.
Baker started the scoring in the second half when Rachel Shepard netted a goal on a cross from Jen Sampson.
Thirty minutes later William Jewell tied the score on a goal from Sali Stout.
The action remained tied into the second overtime until Ashley Ukena scored the game-winning goal on an assist from team captain Alix Schiraldi.
