Lauren Amrein, a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, was honored as the St. Jude Collegiate Ambassador of the Year in January. Amrien is involved in a variety of service projects in the area and honor societies on campus.

Diane “Wilson” Blackwelder, ’70, will be named the next National President of Alpha Chi Omega and is slated to be elected at the national convention in July in St. Louis. An alumna of the Omicron chapter of Alpha Chi Omega on the Baker University campus, Blackwelder served as the chair of the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation for four years and a trustee for eight and was named to the National Council as a vice president in 1996.
