Rick Weaver, the head basketball coach since 1985, retired from coaching basketball at the end of the 2009-2010 season after serving the longest of any coach in any sport for the Wildcats.

The Wildcat Classic Golf Tournament, Friday, May 21, is open to players of all skill levels and kicks off Alumni Weekend 2010.

Baker University salutes the 2009 Hall of Fame class, which includes a swimming pioneer, two-sport letter winner, basketball standout, tennis champion and a longtime coach and administrator.

During his final week as Baker University athletic director, Dan Harris was honored for his contributions to Baker athletics.

Sixteen Wildcat athletes competed in the NAIA national outdoor track and field championships. Sprinter Okiomah’s third place finish was Baker’s top performance.

Former Wildcat Tanner Purdum signed as a free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs in April.

On the final day of the Major League amateur draft, left-handed pitcher Vidal Nuno was drafted by the Cleveland Indians. Over the past two seasons at Baker University, Nuno compiled 15 wins with an ERA of 1.98. In 2008 Nuno was named HAAC Pitcher of the Year.
