Charlotte (Collins) Beye, ’65, has retired as a librarian at Topeka/Shawnee County Public Library.

Krystal (Marrs) Williams, BA ’75, retired in 2009 as a real estate broker. Her son Bryan graduated from Baker in 2002.

Malisa (Anderson) Anderson-Strait, BA ’99, and Eric A. Strait were married on March 29, 2009, at Cavender Castle in Dahlonega, Ga. Malisa’s sister, Sara Anderson, ’04, was the maid of honor. Their parents are Kathy Anderson, ’71, and Andy Anderson, ’72. The couple resides in Atlanta.

Jonathan Affalter, BA ’07, plans to graduate with a Master of Education degree in higher education administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City on May 8, 2010.

Karlen (Jones) Haury, BBA ’00 and MBA ’02, has been named director of the Office of Research Administration at Wichita State University.

Amy (Howard) Hunsaker, BS ’02, and Jerry Hunsaker, BA ’03, live in Gardner, Kan.  Jerry recently earned a master’s degree in teaching at MidAmerica Nazarene University and Amy is working on her master’s degree at Baker University’s School of Professional and Graduate Studies. Jerry is currently an eighth-grade history teacher at Spring Hill Middle School in Spring Hill and Amy is an accounting manager at State Street in downtown Kansas City, Mo. Jerry and Amy welcomed a son, Jerry Allen Hunsaker III (Trey) on May 5, 2008. Trey is the grandchild of Laura Howard, BSM 2002.

Hilary Logan, ’01, graduated with a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction at the University of Kansas on Dec. 31, 2009.

Rebecca (Rossman) Schneider, BS ’00, and Steve Schneider welcomed a daughter, Camryn Grace, born on April 15, 2009 in Overland Park. Camryn joins her sister, Bailey, who is 3.

Heather (Simmons) Shaw, MBA ’04, welcomed a daughter, Riley Madison Shaw, on April 14, 2007.

Lauren (Brown) Taylor, BS ’03 and Andrew Taylor, BS ’03, were married June 21, 2008, on the grounds of the bride’s family home in Cleveland, Mo.
