From the Arbor | News for December from Jerry Weakley

Snow on Taft Bridge

Even though to date we have received just a dusting of snow, we know that a scene like this is not far off.

It’s that wonderful time of the year, both in song and here on our various campuses as our College of Arts and Sciences, School of Nursing and School of Education students are finishing finals at the end of the first semester. Our School of Professional and Graduate Studies students think that they are the toughest students at Baker because they don’t get to enjoy the same break at the end of a traditional semester!

As we prepare for the upcoming holidays much has been going on (and will be) on our several campuses before we take a few blessed days off. I hope that even as busy as you are that you will be able to find a few unrushed moments in which you can sit, relax and enjoy this issue of the Arbor.

Thanks for all the kind comments I have received this year! And, I would be remiss if I didn’t take this opportunity to thank you also for all you have done and continue to do for Baker!

Access this month’s edition of the Arbor. I hope you will find something in it that will entertain or further engage you with our University!

With most sincere wishes for a wonderful Christmas!
