Show your Baker pride during Homecoming Weekend

Homecoming Weekend 2011 is Oct. 21-22. The weekend kicks off with the University’s Athletic Hall of Fame Induction and Student-Athlete Awards Banquet on Friday, Oct. 21, at the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel, 6100 College Blvd.. Baker University will induct former standouts into the Athletic Hall of Fame: Greg Mohns, ’72; Bobby Bates, ’81; Carl Danzig, ’87; and Patti Phillips, ’88. All alumni are invited to the event as we also salute current Baker student-athletes for their accomplishments in the classroom and in sports.

During halftime of the homecoming game against Culver-Stockton at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, the four inductees will be recognized at Liston Stadium. See more on the Hall of Fame class of 2011.

Before the game, the Baker University Alumni Association will host a noon tailgate outside Liston Stadium. Also, young Wildcat fans will enjoy the entertaining KidZone before and during the football game.

Alumni Tailgate Luncheon | Saturday, Oct. 22,  Noon

Tent Outside Liston Stadium

Before the kickoff of Saturday’s game, join Baker alumni, friends, parents and students at the Baker University Alumni Association’s free Tailgate Luncheon. Stay afterward and cheer the Wildcats on to victory.

Wildcat KidZone | Saturday, Oct. 22 , 1 p.m.

Northeast Corner of Liston Stadium

For the third consecutive year, the Alumni Association will entertain young Wildcat fans at the KidZone, free to children 12 and under. The KidZone, featuring moonwalks and inflatable obstacle courses, will open at 1 p.m. and continue through the game. The KidZone will be supervised by Baker students and staff members.
