The Eta Kappa Chapter-at-Large of Sigma Theta Tau International, the national honor society for nursing, inducted 12 Baker nursing students in May.

Two Baker faculty members were honored in the spring semester by the Eta Kappa Chapter-at-Large of Sigma Theta Tau International: Jeanne Mann received an award for Excellence in Nursing Education and Libby Rosen received an award for Excellence in Nursing Research. Alumna Michelle Warren, ’05, received the award for Excellence in Nursing Practice. Faculty emeriti Cleda Meyer and Elaine Shutt and alumna Chris Alumbaugh, ’02, received certificates of appreciation for significant chapter service.

Sharrod Greene, ’11, was commissioned into the Navy Nurse Corps during the pinning ceremony at Grace Episcopal Cathedral in Topeka.

Nursing students were featured in the Topeka Capital-Journal for their work providing care and health assessments for quadruplets in Topeka. Read full story.
