Wildcat Classic Golf Tournament

The fourth annual Wildcat Classic promises to land in the center of the fairway again this year as Baker alums have been clamoring for another chance to hit the links together. Set for May 18 at Prairie Highlands Golf Course in Olathe, this year’s tournament is anticipated to be our largest field yet. Past years have resembled a celebrity pro-am as the tournament hosted Super Bowl and NCAA national champion basketball coaches and former NFL players.

The stakes are even higher in 2012 as head Baker football coach Mike Grossner and his band of old pros are back to battle some new blood for the top of the first flight. We have more prizes and auction items than ever before, so even if your swing is more Phil Hannon, ’86, than it is Phil Mickelson, you’re guaranteed to have a great time! All talent levels are welcome.

The cost of $135 per person covers green fees, golf cart, Baker golf shirt, breakfast and lunch. The prizes and auction items will be available after the round, so be sure to stay and socialize with your fellow Wildcats. All proceeds will benefit Baker University student-athletes.

If you are interested in playing or becoming a sponsor, contact Doug Barth, ’91, director of alumni and corporate relations, at doug.barth@bakeru.edu.
