Phi Mu members, Delta Tau Delta brothers reunite

Forming friendships contributes to the Baker University lifelong experience.
Julia Chanay, Class of 1972, recently hosted a Phi Mu reunion at her home in Lenexa for 35 Phi Mu members who graduated in 1971-74. They enjoyed reminiscing for two days about their time at Baker and the Phi Mu house. Baker graduates from across the country attended, including Sarah Steil Maple, ’73 (Oregon); Annie Grantham Matthews, ’72 (Maryland); Gail Giese Mattson, ’73 (Tennessee); Cheryl Todd McClay, ’71 (South Carolina); Lenni Kirk Burke, ’73 (Texas); Marilyn Sollars Johnston, ’73 (Arizona); Boni Wartman LeDoux, ’71 (Colorado); and Gaye Small Iwig, ’73 (Iowa).

On Thursday, July 5, seven Delta Tau Delta members from the 1950s gathered for lunch at the Collins House. They were Tom Hedrick, ’56; Bob Thomen, ’54; Cecil Miller, ’53; Wes Hill, ’52; Charles Hill, ’56; Tom McGlumphy, ’53; and Bill Eddy, ’54.
