Happy birthday, Sig Ep!

Sig EpThe Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity turns 100 on April 10, so congrats to all past and present brothers. To celebrate, Baker’s Kansas Alpha Chapter will host a golf tournament at Deer Creek Golf Club on May 21 in Overland Park and a dinner at the Doubletree Hotel that evening.

The following day the men will showcase their skills in sand volleyball and softball tournaments, followed by a social hour at the house.

“The alumni board has been busy since last May planning this most wonderful and joyous milestone for Kansas Alpha,” said Alumni Board Vice President of Communications Chris Newlin, ’99. “Our Chapter is the 34th oldest chapter in the history of Sig Ep out of 269 chapters nationally, so this milestone is a great achievement for every brother that has come through our house.”

No only do Sue and I connect to Baker and the NFL Champs, the Packers by way of their coach. We also have to celebrate the fact that Arron Rogers, the quarterback is from our town, hico, California.
