Join President Pat Long on a seven-night, eight-day trip to London that includes an optional overnight excursion to beautiful Harlaxton Manor in Grantham, England. Price includes round-trip airfare from Kansas City to London, round-trip transportation from airport to hotel, seven nights at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, breakfast each morning, half-day guided tour of London highlights and half-day tour of Windsor Castle.

One-night stay includes dinner, breakfast and round-trip transfers to and from the manor.
Other Optional Excursions

Day 1 — Thursday, June 20
Overnight flight to London.
Day 2 — Friday, June 21
Welcome to London by a local host who will provide you a destination guide full of useful city information that will help you create lasting memories.
Day 3 — Saturday, June 22
Guided sightseeing and orientation in the morning takes you past the Palace of Westminster, better known as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben beside the River Thames, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall’s mounted horse guards, the Prime Minister’s Downing Street, and Piccadilly Circus. Visit St. Paul’s Cathedral and see the Changing of the Guard (if held) at Buckingham Palace. Your sightseeing trip ends at your hotel around lunchtime. You’ll have an opportunity to explore on your own in the afternoon.
Day 4 — Sunday, June 23
Full day on your own to enjoy the very best of London. Visit the Tower of London to see the Crown Jewels, cruise the River Thames or take a day trip to Paris on the Eurostar. Optional excursions available.
Day 5 — Monday, June 24
Train to Grantham and Harlaxton Manor with dinner and overnight stay if you choose this optional excursion. Should you decide not to travel to the manor, you have another free day to roam around London.
Day 6 — Tuesday, June 25
After breakfast return to London, stroll through one of the royal parks, visit the zoo, or row a boat on the Hyde Park Serpentine. Optional excursions available.
Day 7 — Wednesday, June 26
Take an afternoon trip to Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and one of the official residences of Queen Elizabeth II.
Day 8 — Thursday, June 27
Free day, enjoy an optional pub get-together on our last night. Optional excursions available.
Day 9 — Friday, June 28
Your vacation ends with breakfast in the morning and a return transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Reservations & Deposits
Land tour deposits of $250 per person will confirm your reservation. If using the special group airfare from Kansas City (MCI), an additional $100 per person deposit is due with a personal check.
Because of limited availability and expected high demand, you are encouraged to confirm your reservation as soon as possible. Reservations received after February 1 will be confirmed on a space-available basis. Final payment is due on March 20, 2013. Print Flier (pdf)
Travel Insurance & Cancellations
Optional travel insurance is available in the amount of $199 per person. This insurance does not cover the Harlaxton excursion. Preexisting-conditions exclusion is waived if the payment for this protection plan is received with your initial deposit. The travel protection plan covers nonrefundable penalties when cancellation occurs for a covered medical reason.
Cancellations received before February 1, 2013, will be refunded in full, less any payment made for travel protection. From February 1 to May 1, 2013, the deposit is nonrefundable plus any nonrecoverable fees. There are no refunds after May 1, 2013.
