Wandering Wildcats 2014 | New York and Bermuda

I hope that you will consider joining Dr. Pat and Dennis as they “sail away” one more time with the Wandering Wildcats. Next summer we will cruise to Bermuda from New York aboard the ship that has just recently been named the best new ship of 2013, the Breakaway of NCL.

May 31 | Bermuda Cruise Boarding from NYC

Saturday, May 31

The main travel group will fly from Kansas City May 31 and spend one night in New York at the New York Hilton Midtown before boarding the brand new NCL cruise ship the Breakaway, which sailed for the first time in May 2013.

June 1-8

We are bound for Bermuda on June 1, cruising for two relaxing days at sea followed by harboring at the famous King’s Wharf. The ship remains your sleeping and dining locale while providing a jumping-off point for the tours and activities that abound.

After three days at harbor, the ship returns leisurely to its berth in New York City.

June 8-9 | New York City

Wandering Wildcats remaining in New York after the cruise will stay for two nights at the New York Hilton Midtown. Near Rockefeller Center, it is convenient to Times Square and Broadway.

World Trade Center Memorial

A special tour of the World Trade Center Memorial  is being planned. It will be led by Baker graduate, Charles Agro, ’79, a longtime member of the staff of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, under whose jurisdiction fall all bridges, tunnels, airports and the World Trade Center.

Dine Around Manhattan

The second special experience while in New York will be the optional Dine Around Manhattan on a ship specially designed as a gourmet restaurant. Onboard World Yacht you will enjoy a meal to remember as you glide by the skyscrapers and spectacular lights of Manhattan and New Jersey. This tour is being coordinated through Rick Quattrini, ’75, the original owner and founder of World Yacht! Costs for this are yet to be determined.

All prices are per person/double occupancy unless otherwise noted.
