Alumni Weekend | Reconnect with Former Classmates & Friends

Reconnect with Former Classmates & Friends

Whether you like to spend time on the golf course, socialize with your classmates over dinner or visit the Baldwin City campus, Alumni Weekend provides a variety of ways to reconnect with friends and reminisce. Held each May, Alumni Weekend is open to former students from all classes and from all four schools: College of Arts and Sciences, School of Professional and Graduate Studies, School of Nursing, and School of Education.

Golf & More

The weekend kicks off Friday with the Wildcat Classic Golf Tournament, an event to raise funds for Baker Athletics. Enjoy your favorite game with fellow classmates, friends, family, coaches and professors. The event is open to players of all skill levels. Last year we introduced Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, an event also held at Alvamar Golf Course that coincided with the golf tournament.

Also new in 2014 was the Alumni Weekend Friday Night Social, a casual gathering at the Sports Cave Bar & Grill in Overland Park. This change allows us to reserve the Golden Alumni Reunion and Alumni Award Recognition Dinner for our golden alumni and their guests.

Baldwin City Campus Comes Alive

On Saturday, former Wildcats visit campus and their Greek houses and attend the Alumni Luncheon. Parties, gatherings and reunions are planned throughout the day and into the evening. Alumni Weekend culminates with a baccalaureate service at Baldwin First United Methodist Church and commencement activities in the afternoon, where the Baker community welcomes and honors a new graduating class.
